4th Fox Room Paranormal Investigation with Vermont Specter Squad

Paranormal fans and investigators are invited to dive into the intriguing Fox Room at the Rutland Free Library, a captivating location that once served as a jail and courthouse before its transformation into a library in the 1930s.

Our first investigation occurred on August 26, 2024, followed by a second on November 9, 2024. During the first session, the word "DROWNED" was repeatedly heard through the ghost tube. Who might this refer to? We need your assistance to solve this mystery! In our second investigation, I utilized dowsing rods to inquire if the individual who drowned was present, and the answer was a definitive yes.

The Vermont Specter Squad is excited to uncover hidden truths and possibly document some unexplained occurrences. The prospect of exploring such a haunted venue, filled with supernatural energy and eerie sounds, is bound to excite even the most seasoned paranormal enthusiasts. Feel free to bring your own investigative tools, your curiosity, or simply come to observe. Anticipation is high for what we might uncover within those walls. This is a unique opportunity to step into the unknown and potentially connect with spirits from another realm, making it a dream experience for those fascinated by the strange and mysterious.

Please note that Ouija boards and seances are not allowed.

For refreshments, bottled water and cereal bars are permitted. The investigation will be conducted solely in the Fox Room. Be ready to share any findings you gather during the investigation with the library. Please keep from sharing personal information about other investigators without their permission. Remember to keep the noise level down in other parts of the building, as it is a library.
Here’s the agenda:
1. SET UP
Arrange any necessary chairs or tables available in the room. Put out Investigation equipment. Labels will be next to each piece of equipment saying what the piece of equipment is.
2. INTRO/ORIENTATION
Discuss the paranormal equipment and the history of the building.
3. INVESTIGATION
This will hopefully include an Estes Method attempt, where one person will wear noise-canceling headphones and a blindfold, listening to the spirit box without hearing any questions asked.
4. CLEAN UP
Prepare to wrap up the session. Clean up and be ready to leave before 3:30pm.

Any information collected during the investigation will be shared with the Rutland Free Library! We encourage you to share any information you gather with them as well.
